What's this course about?
This course is for more experienced jewellery makers who want to learn how to craft more delicate and intricate items using advanced silversmithing skills, including techniques such as repoussé and stone-setting. You will also develop your design skills and refine your use of more specialised tools and equipment.
Course duration
8 weeks x 2.5 hours per week
Entry requirements
You will need to have mastered basic silversmithing skills.
What can I do next?
You can re-enrol next term to continue building your portfolio. You may choose to work towards a qualification in this subject, or explore self-employment opportunities. ONLS offers workshops in using social media for selling your work, and you may also wish to enrol on an art course to further develop your drawing and design skills.
